The option to make a movie from the Nightside series is with Celtic Rose (http://www.celtic-rose-ent.com/).

Not much on their site, but I know their are working on 'something'.

I understand that they are planning to set it in London, if only a virtual one as filming in the city would cost a fortune!

They have yet to decide which book(s) would be scripted for the first movie and there has been no talk of a cast...

Any thoughts good people ??

I'm thrilled to hear there's talk of a movie. This could either go very well or bomb terribly like the Twilight series movies did (please, let's have none of that!). As for casting... I think the success will depend a lot on who is cast for John Taylor... I feel he would be very difficult to cast... I picture rugged and charming, sharp jaw line, strong feature... he has to be handsome, but a little worn and rough around the edges. I think most people have ideas of what he may look like and sound like, but no real solid mind image of him... it'll be interesting and I can't wait!

Hi Sara and welcome.

I've always thought Sean Petween would make a good JT

Yes indeed, one of favourites too.

Although, if you feel like a challenge, try to think of film that he make it to the end of and is still alive ? (there aren't many, I'd have word with his agent if I were him!)..

Good question!

Event Horizon was cool, but he doesn't make it anywhere near the end...

He was in Luther recently, but I've got a feeling that he probably died in that one too...!

He tends to do better on TV than the big screen.

We can only think of one movie that he makes it all the through...

This is tricky!! It could be Equilibrium, but as he plays the bad guy there's no hope of him making it to the end...how about Blue Juice? Is that the one?!!

In a new record... he's dead from the start in Equilibrium.

You get today's star prize it is Blue Juice. We can't find another.
